How to Keep Afro Hair Moisturized Between Wash Days

Moisture is a rhythm, not an event
Textured hair rarely stays soft for a full week from one wash-day effort. The coil pattern that makes Afro hair beautiful also slows the spread of natural oils — so moisture has to be topped up deliberately between washes.
Start from a strong wash day
Between-day moisture only works if wash day delivered it: a gentle cleanse, thorough conditioning, and leave-in applied to damp hair before sealing with oil. Everything after that is maintenance.
Refresh, don't rewash
Mid-week, lightly mist or dampen sections, then work a small amount of Everyday Living Cream through — especially ends. You're reviving moisture, not starting over. Two minutes is enough.
Seal what you add
Any time you add moisture, close the loop: a drop or two of Hair Oil over the section helps keep it there. Unsealed moisture in dry winter air evaporates by afternoon.
Protect at night
Cotton pillowcases undo your day's work while you sleep. A satin bonnet, scarf or pillowcase keeps moisture in hair instead of in fabric — and means you wake up closer to day-one softness.
